Gloria Micó Cabanes

Gloria graduated with a Bachelor of Physics in 2011 at the University of Valencia (UV) joining the University of Groningen (RUG) in the Netherlands this same year to perform her Bachelor Thesis based on single molecules microscopy. She obtained her M.Sc. in Photonics from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in 2013, developing her Master Thesis on biophotonics at Institute of Photonics Sciences (ICFO).

Since 2014, she has been working in the Photonics Research Lab (PRL) group of the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (ITEAM) at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). She defended her PhD thesis in 2020, which is focused on the design and characterization of photonic integrated sensors fabricated in a novel Silicon Nitride platform. She is currently involved in a proyect about LIDAR applications.
